This is a BRAND NEW paperback book.  This is a great price, and this book is a great opportunity to improve your game !  Dvoretsky is one of my favorite Chess authors and this is a book I personally gained a LOT from.  Artur Yusupov is one of his well-known students.

How should a chess player prepare his openings when about to face a well-prepared opponent? How does he build up a repertoire of openings and which openings should be used when a win is vital? This book attempts to answer these, and other questions asked about chess openings.

This guide, intended perhaps best for tournament players, addresses all the factors that indicate the correct choice of opening lead. The format challenges players to think for themselves before being presented with the solution.

But, you will get a LOT more out of this book.  You can't go wrong with any of Dvoretsky's books, if your goal is to improve your game and your rating/skill.

You'll have guessed by now that I very much like Dvoretsky's books, so for general opening instruction I have chosen this one, but it helps with a lot more. 

The world's top trainer, Mark Dvoretsky, and one of his best-known pupils, grandmaster Artur Yusupov, present a great chance to learn to talented young players throughout the world.  It helps in areas such as the calculation of variations and the development of intuition.

Mark Dvoretsky is an International Master and Artur Yusupov is an International Grandmaster of chess. They are the authors of Secrets of Chess Training, Secrets of Endgame Technique, and Secrets of Opening Preparation.
