This Litze/Sokkisha Theodolite TM20H was used in my engineering business and was maintained during use in my business.  The TM20H is still in good working order and is still in good working order.  The TM20H is a later model of the TM20C and has some technical specification improvements.  The Litze/Sokkisha Theodolite TM20H comes complete with the original carrying case and the original owner’s manual. The carrying case is still water proof, and shows little signs of wear on the exterior.  This is a great instrument for the person who understands and appreciates quality equipment.  The Litze/Sokkisha Theodolite TM20H has many feathers of which the buyer should be aware.  The manual provides clear instructions for using these special feathers of the TM20H.  The TM20H has a single bubble level to level the base and an additional bubble to level the upper section when the instrument is used as level or other functions.  The leveling bubbles can be seen in one of the pictures provided.  A quick set up peep sight is provided on both top and bottom of the telescope.  Vertical and horizontal angles can be read and adjusted using the sight tube adjacent to the telescope.  Light for reading the vertical and horizontal angles can be adjusted on the side of the upper portion of the instrument.  A battery operated light for low light conditions that can be mounted over the natural light lens A side mounted compass that will locate magnetic north with in 1° comes in the case.  A plumb bob is not needed set the instrument directly over the surveying nail or point because there is a sight tube for the accurate nail location on the base of the instrument.  Other special feathers can be found in the owner’s manual.

Shipping Information

The Litze/Sokkisha Theodolite TM20H and tripod will be shipped through usps in one large box 65” long by 12” wide and 12" deep and will weigh  approximately 25 lbs and 4 oz.  It was estimated that the shipping and handling cost for the level and tripod in one box would be $15.00, but seller has chosen to make it free.
