In August 1950, the war in Korea was not going well. Inexperienced troops were trapped by North Koreans in a small corner of South Korea known as the Pusan Perimeter. Due to efforts aimed at Moscow and elsewhere, North Korean codes had been necessarily ignored. General W. H. Walker had no strategic information from Washington and had to rely on locally acquired intelligence.  This is an excellent 18 page non-fiction publication with an amazing amount of fascinating facts and photographs.
