hinges and leather cording at the spine. Glassine front end paper.
The inside pages are illustrated with black and white drawings, including a few politically incorrect caricatures of African-Americans. Directions on how to make a vast array of cocktails, alcoholic beverages, mixed drinks and info on bartending. Chapters include Essay on Moden Art of Mixing Drinks; Highballs, the Collins and Rickey Families; Well-Dressed Drinks; Food for Drinks - Not Thought (milk-based or egg-based libations); Cocktails and Party Mixes.
