You are bidding on a GOOD USED COMPLETE- RECOIL PULL START ASSEMBLY for a BRIGGS & STRATTON 5 HP VERTICAL ENGINE
This recoil pull start assembly was removed from a YARDMAN lawn mower which appeared to be in excellent condition but apparently the owner never thought to check the oil level until the engine stopped running.
This pull starter works just fine.
Look at the photos, this machine shows no signs of heavy use.
Look at the muffler, there is very little exhaust burn or rust.
It appears to have had limited use.
I don't know how old this is but it doesn't appear to be more than a few years old.
It is very clean overall and it looks good inside.
The pull rope is in like new condition.
This assembly will probably fit similar HP engines but the bidder must determine the application.
The numbers on the side flange are 120K02-0418-E1 06040458
I am also listing the CARBURETOR assembly from this engine in another auction but will ship together if if you buy both.
If the winning bidder wants the fuel tank from this engine just let me know and I will include it at no additional charge.
I would rather see someone use this starter assembly than throw it in the scrap metal bin at my local transfer station as I will do with the rest of the mower.
The 99 cents didn't cover my listing costs so at my starting price I am actually giving it away.
I have added $5 into the shipping cost for the time and materials to package it well enough to have a reasonably good chance of surviving the UPS delivery experience.
