 Ferris 1000Z 21HP Kohler, with a 48" cut, 3 bladed deck. This is a true commercial mowing machine weighing in around 1050 lbs. The unit is a dual hydro drive with a seperate pump and wheel motor for each wheel. The dual fuel tanks hold a total of 8.5 gallons with a fuel guage on each tank. The deck is 10 guage lap welded, reinforced steel deck with foot operated deck lift. The ground speed is 10 MPH. This unit is designed for the person who mows all day, every day and who makes a living doing so. The parent company of Ferris is Briggs and Stratton Corp. Parts will not be a problem with this kind of backing It is a good bet Ferris will not be sold or merged years from now so replacement parts will be available. This mower is no longer produced as Ferris has added suspension componenets to all its current models. The 1000z model was a main stay for years in the Ferris lineup. I purchase discontinued models periodically to take advantage of the price breaks they offer. This is the last unit I have left this season. The mower has the full 2 year warranty on the engine from Kohler and 2 years from Ferris. The spindles and bearing are warranted for 2 years, unlike many brands who do not offer this. The unit came to me in the factory crate. It is ready to mow when you get it.

I can offer delivery to some locations at a reasonable additional cost. I will  need your city and state and zip code to check on freight rates.  I can also hold your purchase in my warehouse for up to 90 days at no cost. This will give you time to make arrangements to pick it up later. My location is inside the metro Louisville KY area, IE New Albany, IN. Since I have a retail presence in Indiana, I will have to charge a delivery to an Indiana address sales tax of 7%. I will cover 50% of the sale tax and you would be required to pay 50%.
