The DS itself works 100% but has some cosmetic flaws. There is a small chip in the bottom left (pic #4), a small piece of plastic that broke off at the edge of the hinge near the power indicator light (pic #5), and the screen has a good amount of scratching. The top screen does not lock into place when open anymore, either. In other words, to play it upside down, you would have to hold the top screen from falling with your finger. I'm sure it could also use a good cleaning (cracks & crevices)

The games, on the other hand, are in great condition. Light signs of wear on the cartridges themselves from normal in-and-out activity, the cases are awesome with no crushing or cracking. The same goes for the Codebreaker. The Pokedex Guide is in good, used condition, with mild to moderate tearing and wearing at the corners and along the spine. Pages are all there and good, poster has been removed.

The only way to complete your Pokedex and capture some of the more desirable Pokemon requires trading between 2 DS handhelds. This one would make a great 2nd or backup DS. Add it to your or your child's collection without breaking the bank.
