Britax Parkway 9041 Booster Car Seat - Brownstone

Here for your considerations is a practically new Britax Parkway Booster Seat. My wife and I purchased it after our daughter gave birth to her second child. We realized after the first grandchild that it would have been much nicer and more convenient for us as grandparents had we had our own seat available for our car. So this seat was purchased, but used only sparingly when we took care of the grandchildren. Since food and beverages were never used in our car you can be certain none was ever used in this seat either. Product features include: > Retractable Side Cup Holders > Comfort Foam on Backrest and Seat Base > Removable Brown Washable Cover > True Side Impact Protection (TSIP) > Complete Body Comfort You will notice that this seat comes with the TSIP tag. This stands for “True Side Impact Protection.” In the event of an accident this system is designed to distribute crash forces, shield the body from vehicle intrusion, contain the head and body, and keep the head, neck and spine in true alignment to limit injury. This restraint system conforms with all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards but is not certified for use in aircraft. There are absolutely no rips, stains or repairs to the cover or the frame. The durable cover is brown in color and the frame is a dark gray. Normal scratch marks on the base of the frame are from being restrained by seat belts. The only imperfection was my glue repair to Styrofoam backing where we discovered it was broken the first time the covering was removed for washing. We now believe it actually came this way from the factory. A replacement is probably available from the manufacturer if desired. However, in no way does it reduce the degree of child protection and we have learned from others it is a common thing. We selected this seat only after doing a bit of consumer research and noticing that is was the recipient of the Mother’s Choice Award for best safety standards in booster seats on the market. We discovered it was as good as they said! This seat is extremely durable and very easy to maneuver in and out of the back seat. Comfort never seemed to be a problem. Manufacturer specifications are noted above. This seat has never been in an accident of any kind and comes from a smoke-free and pet-free car and home. We have taken good care of it.
