Malachite (Nodular) - Location: Shavacresta¸ Zaire. Miniature. Here we have a nice aesthetic specimen of the mammilary variety of malachite that has been polished to bring out the beauty of its color and patterns. Kind of reminds me of what a kidney would look like if it were green and polished. This is excellent 'gem' material but I am a specimen purist and prefer it more as a display specimen.
