18th CENTURY CHINESE THREE-DRAWER

KANG TABLE.

 

This beautiful piece was acquired in 2002 and is made in the traditional manner using Northern Elm wood. 

It measures 1110 mm wide, 400 mm deep and 400 mm high. 

In the intervening years the Chinese government has placed restrictions on the export of such national treasures.  As a result, we understand the availability of pieces as fine as this one is very limited.

The item is being offered for sale due to an imminent downsizing and is being offered for sale elsewhere.  It may be removed from sale on this site without notice.

Inspections by arrangement. The successful bidder may collect the item from the Canberra/Queanbeyan area or it can be freighted.  Since it is light, transport costs will be calulated on the cubed size - not the weight.  We will be happy to crate it for an addition $45 to ensure its safe arrival.  The purchaser should seriously considering transport insurance.
