This is an authentic vintage Chanel purse, recently estimated at $1,500.00. It is a timeless looking classic, and very chic!
This purse dates prior to the 1980's, before they began placing the control stickers in them. This purse does come with an authentication card, with serial #9575964.
It measures 11 1/2" wide, and 10" tall, with a 12 1/2" drop from the shoulder.
It has beautiful orange leather interior, with large pockets on either side, One of which has a dark metal zipper pull bearing the traditional Chanel symbol. The Chanel logo is also branded in gold on this pocket, and "Made in France" is also in gold on the opposing pocket.
The exterior is made of a black fabric, trimmed in black patent, with a black patent zipper pull, also bearing the Chanel logo.
There are a couple of small, inconspicuous flaws, due to the age of this purse. The fabric shows the very beginning of loosening from under 3 of the outer grommets (easily fixable). It is almost unnoticable, but I have it pictured below. Next, is a pinhole in the interior leather, also very tiny, with a hint of wear at the very top of the leather on the sides. Other than that, the purse is in excellent condition, especially for it's age, and very well made.
