RARE 1883 Beck & Co. Golf Card ~ Only One PSA Graded!

This auction is for a SUPER RARE golf card that just might be in the top 10 of rare vintage golf cards, it’s certainly the scarcest golf card I’ve ever listed and I’m PROUD to be able to offer this ultra rare golf card in this auction!  In fact, this is often called the Honus Wagner of golf cards by many experts and collectors, it's VERY, VERY scarce and only a handful are known to exist!  Also, according to their website, this is the ONLY ONE graded by PSA as of the date of this listing! 

You are bidding on an 1883 Aug. Beck & Co. golf card, also known as an 1883 Beck & Co. golf card, and it is TRULY one of the hobby’s rarest golf cards!  Aug. Beck & Co., a USA based company, issued the Yum Yum Tobacco cigarette cards and THIS AUCTION is for a VERY RARE 1883 Yum Yum golf card, which as you can see from the scan, depicts an awesome golf scene with a man preparing to hit his golf ball teed up on a small mound of dirt.  Small mounds of dirt are what golfers used BEFORE the invention of golf tees, so it’s always neat to see an old golf card with a mound of dirt golf tee because you can KNOW it’s a VERY OLD golf trade card!

Anyway, this old Yum Yum Tobacco cigarette golf card was issued by Aug. Beck & Co. in 1883 and is part of the VERY rare Yum Yum Tobacco cigarette card set titled:

and THIS scarce Aug. Beck cigarette card is simply titled:

Just a SUPER RARE late 1800s golf cigarette card and as you can see, many if not most of these 1883 Beck golf cards were sent BACK to the company to be redeemed for the above mentioned “goodies”.  Imagine how very precious few of these probably survived!
