My Kool Kollectibles is proud to present this 2-SIDED promotional only 45rpm from Pat Boone/Jimmie Rodgers and Dot Records entitled Wish You Were Here, Buddy/Love Me, Please Love Me (Dot 16933) originally released to radio stations only in 1966 in the U.S. This record would grade a stunning VG+ Very Clean. Some writing on labels. It features 2 different artists...one Pat Boone and the other Jimmie Rodgers. Quite rare, this record is sought after mostly for the Pat Boone song. It is actually a Pro-Vietnam song...written from the perspecive of a soldier who was drafted and sent to Vietnam and is not at all happy that his "buddy" elected to stay home and protest the war. Released in 1966 as the Vietnam war was quickly escalating. Here are the lyrics to the song:
