Giro Atmos BLUE/BLACK, This is the Ultimate in light-weight cycling helmets as worn by by multiple Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. For this particular helmet Giro added CARBON FIBER in order to reduce the weight and increase the strength of the helmet. Features which can be seen on this helmet are: Two CARBON FIBER "Rib Cage" inserts that are In-Moulded into the foam liner during construction for massive strength and maximum safety. An addvantage is the internal "Roll cage" which has teh purpose of enhancing the structural integrity in the event of an accident. Also the 26 "Wind Tunnel Tested" design vents and internal cross-rib-channelling draw air through the helmet for excellent cooling whilst riding. An finally but not least the Roc Loc 4 adjustable helmet retention system for a perfect fit. 8.5 oz/240 grams. Suggested Retail Price: $189.99
