RARE Hummel Angel Figurine w/Candle VINTAGE Must C! NR!

Few Hummel pieces retain the paler flesh tones reminiscent of the early exploratory pieces of Sister M.I. Hummel as shown in this piece.  Some of these objects/figurines were simply never put into production. Many different Hummel collectibles represent experiments with styles of decoration and the materials to be used.  This is not the traditional "Norman Rockwell" look Hummel, you can tell by the design and the overall look & feel of the figurine. It's also made of a different material, like ceramic unlike the heavier traditional Hummels.

This does not have a common trademark on the bottom other than the Goebel stamp - it also reads in full "Western Germany" not abbreviated at all as shown on other trademark stamps however as stated by M.I. Hummel:  "Rare and undocumented variations may surface".

This is just a beautiful piece to add to your collection.
