The Silke You've Got To Hide Your Love Away Beatles

Hi all, after being "downsized" from my career of 25 years, I have decided that it is time to sell off my entire record collection ranging from the late 50's to early 80's or so.  I have to admit I thought it would never come to this.  Well, enough about that, Im sure you do not want to hear the story.  After all you are hear to BUY the albums I am putting up here on EBAY.  I will try my best to give you as much history of the records I will be listing.  By "history" I will let you know how I came into possession of the item.  95% of these items were originally owned by myself or one member of my immediate family.  I will be listing 45 rpm singles, 45rmp lots, single LP's and LP lots and most likely other Beatles related items.  I sincerely hope that you will bid and thanks for looking.  All bids are HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

Please note, I am not a professional record "grader".  I did purchase a few resources (especially Beatles resources) to help me describe what you are bidding on so you will be 100% certain on what you are purchasing.  NONE of the records I am listed are play tested as I have not owned a record player since the mid 1980's.  Also, if I say something looks nice it is because that is my opinion.  I am hoping that will be your opinion when you receive your item.  Some items are going to be sold "as is" so please be sure you want the item prior to bidding.  As an incentive I will be offering FREE BEATLES bonuses on SOME of the items being listed.

You are bidding on this 45 rpm of The Silke "You've Got To Hide your Love Away / City Winds" on the light blue Fontana label.  Catalog Number F-1525.  This is the original 1965 release.  this record was produced by John Lennon and he, Paul and George all played on this record.  The record has been played sparingly but could probably pass for near mint to mint.  The only "negative" is that the B side label is offset.  There is is little wear near the spindle holes and under a light there are NO scratches or scuffs that should affect play on either side. This 45 will come in an FONATAN paper sleeve that I believe was in when my sister originally purchased the record. I will go out on a limb and say that this will make a VERY NICE addition to any 45 rpm collection.  It is not MINTY MINT but a very close and an overall nice 45rpm record that is now almost 44 years old !   Dont pass this one up, if you are looking to add this 45 to your collection I do not believe you could go back to 1965 and find a nicer copy!
