True European Convection

GE® convection ovens are “true European” convection, utilizing the bake and broil elements along with a 2500-watt, double-loop heating element surrounding a convection fan in the rear oven wall. The fan circulates air throughout the oven and creates baked goods that maintain their delicate texture while turning a golden brown.

Convection Bake

When Convection Bake is selected, both the bake and broil elements are cycled on and off alternately and the fan reverses in approximately three-minute cycles. This is optimized for foods like casseroles or lasagnas, yeast breads, pies and pizzas because browning is even with no need to turn or rotate the pan.
