You are viewing a well read example of John Theobald's treatise on home remedies as published at Philadelphia in 1794. The book consists of medical advice arranged by malady (frozen limbs, wind, etc), plus a section on waters and ointments (such as ointment of marshmallow, etc). The text consists of 87 pages complete and is bound in stiff gray boards of the sort issed by printers in this period.  Condition: Front cover missing, back cover loose and subject to insect nibbles. See scan for binding condition. Otherwise the text itself is clean and mostly free of age spots.  Scarce. Index at the front.
