Art Nouveau style pewter stand or what? Macintosh

First of all I must say that I dont have a clue of what purpose this pewter object has. As for me I would use it as a salt cellar because the bowl on top is very small and it would look very nice with a tall salt cellar for a change. Anyway. this one is marked "charles Rennie Macintosh pewter" and with a copyright "C" so it´s not an old object at all even if it´s in the range of design Macintosh made. The condition is very good with very little wear and scratches. The diameter at the bottom is 8 cm and 7 cm at the top and the stand is 14 cm tall. The weight is 208 gram.

Next week I will have a christmas auction with traditional swedish decorations, both vintage and antique. Alot of typical candleholders and some nice embroidery so please take a look.
