The Perfection 1250 Photo model includes a 35mm slide adapter unit for scanning negatives and slides. Compatible with both PCs and Macs, the Epson also has a combination of hardware extras and useful software to handle all of the scanning tasks you throw at it. The 4-by-5-inch slide adapter comes with two film holders to block extraneous light and keep the media square on the glass. With 1,200dpi optical resolution and 48-bit color, the Perfection captures every detail in photos, slides, and photo negatives. And one-touch buttons let you use the scanner like a copier, attach photos to e-mail, or upload images to the Web.
