A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.

and I will do the same for buyer.
PayPal is your only method of payment. Please be so kind as to pay
within two days. If I get no response from you whatsoever within 5 days … the
item(s) will be reported to eBay as unpaid. Also, if you are going to be away
when the auction ends … on vacation/holiday/business trip … do let me know
before you bid, otherwise it could lead to the item being reported as unpaid
when I get no response from you.
PLEASE BE SURE TO READ EVERYTHING IN THIS
DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING. OR IT COULD MAKE YOUR PURCHASE INVALID. THANK YOU!
MOST IMPORTANT NOTE: While I strive to get
items into the post within three working days ... I cannot be held responsible
for STRIKES or any circumstances out of my control. Once I mail the item it is
out of my hands. I have spoken with the Post
Office and methods of postage you pay extra for gets priority over just 1st or
2nd class. Most of my items are Recorded and Special Delivery. If it's a Saturday or Sunday payment, usually your item
will go in the post by Wednesday. I don't post on Mondays. And I will always retain a proof of posting to show that the item
was indeed mail. Of all the packages I have mailed over the years I
have never had any reported damages and only one item has gone missing … and
that item was in the UK.
Note for UK
Buyers: When you pay for your item you will be able to edit the postage for
the proper amount as per my options and suggestions below. On some higher value
there is no choice on postage options … it’s Special Delivery only. This is how
my restructuring goes.
1. Recorded: 1st & 2nd Class. Compensation is included up to
£9.00. Proof of posting will be obtained. This item is trackable.
2. Standard Parcel: Standard rate covers up to £39.00. This option is
suggested. Additional fee covers higher values. Compensation is included. Proof
of posting will be obtained. This item is trackable.
3. Special Delivery: Standard rate covers up to £500.00. This option
is suggested. Additional fee covers higher values. Compensation is included.
Proof of posting will be obtained. This item is trackable.
Since postage now has to be free … while I can combine items in packaging
there’s no postage discount.
If your item arrives damaged, tell you postman at the time or take it to
your Post Office and complain. I can't deal with any damaged goods because in
order for me to put in a claim you would have to send me back the item(s)
at your expense and I would have to send item(s) back to Royal Mail, at your expense.
For non-receipt I can file a claim. However, there is a waiting time. I have
spoken to Royal Mail and they tell me ... for Recorded you have to wait 15 days
before filing a claim ... for Special Delivery you have to wait 10 days before
filing a claim. Then once a claim is filed it takes as long as it takes for
Royal Mail to decide to accept or deny the claim.
I am sorry for this but I can’t be held responsible for circumstances out
of my control. Sometimes new and improved is not better than the old way.
******
Note for Buyers from Ireland:Southern Ireland must pay the Europe
postage rate. Northern Ireland
pays UK rate.
Outside UK:
If you buy more than one item from in a day or on two consecutive days … I
will combine postage. But please, wait for me to send you a combined invoice so
you can save on postage.
Outside UK
is buy at your own risk. This does not mean your item won’t be mailed ... I
will obtain an official proof of posting from the post office. This because
when dealing with two different postal services neither one of them will take
the blame for where an item got damaged or went missing. This was told to me by
a Royal Mail Customer Service Representative. There is a service called Data
Post which will guarantee delivery but it’s absolutely outrageous in price. And
it varies for different areas in the USA.
For example: a package going to NY with a zip of 11557, that weighs 2 pounds
for coverage of £150.00 ($261.00 approx.) it would cost £41.00 ($71.00 approx.)
and that is why I don’t offer this service. Printed papers up to 5 kilos
(approximately 11 pounds) can go by Royal Mail. Over 5 kilos has to go by
Parcel Force which isn't even worth thinking about on postage.
