30 gms of 95 % brine shrimp eggs. See how it differs

Several years ago all the harvesters of brine shrimp eggs on the Great Salt Lake decided to form a co-op.  Since then prices have soared and I can now get brine shrimp cysts from overseas that will hatch out at 95% or better for less than I was paying for 85% eggs from Utah.  After trying them, I have decided to sell them instead.  Most sellers who are offering eggs that hatch at 90 or 95% are actually selling these eggs from overseas.

This batch of eggs gives the best hatch of any I ever used.  I use what I sell and can attest to their quality.

Like always these eggs come from a freshly opened can.  Each can is tried by me before selling.  The eggs still will come in unbreakable, air tight, polypropylene tubes.  These tubes cost me 25 cents each and also add to the cost of postage, but they are much more convenient to use and will keep the eggs fresh much longer.

My supplier recommends the following hatching conditions.
1.    pH: At least 8.5
2.    Illumination should be constant
3.    Temperature: 28 degrees Celsius
5.    Aeration
6.    Salinity: recommended to be approximately 15 - 30ppt (15 - 30 grams salt per liter water).
7.    Density of cysts should not exceed 2 grams / liter.
8.    Incubation Time 24 hours
I get an excellent hatch with only ambient light, water temperature of 78 degrees and using rock salt with plain, chlorinated tap water. At 62 degrees in the dark, the hatching time was longer and the hatch rate some what less, but they still give a good hatch . 
The newly hatched shrimp are just a little smaller than GSL larva, but larger than the San Francisco Bay variety.  Send me an email me if you need detailed hatching instructions or want a sample before buying.

Over half of my sales are to my Canadian friends.  Recently it has been taking over two weeks.   I will ship overseas but can not be held responsible for knowing your country's import laws.
