"Midtown" is a LIMITED ED Lithograph by Rodell Johnson

Rodell Johnson is well known from coast to coast for his work in entertainment and fine art. Born in Minnesota, he attended Stanford University and earned a degree in education and graphic arts. Johnson enlisted in the military, rose to the rank of major and was the chief of the animation branch.

What would soon follow would be the experience of a lifetime as Rodell joined the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California. He worked on the animation for shows such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Bambi, and Dumbo. He also animated several Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck shorts. Johnson then moved to New York to animate TV commercials and motion pictures. His affection for his new home inspired him to illustrate the Big Apple's landmarks, buildings and wide variety of people that comprise the cities aura.
