This video contains three film, approximately 15 minutes each, produced by the Navy in the early 1950s.

The first film, Recognition Of Jet Aircraft, features the F3D Skynight, the F7U Cutless and the F2H Bansheee. Includes excellent views of these planes in flight and on the ground.

The second film is titled Combat Information Center (CIC) In Air Intercept Control In Air Intercept Control. Provides an overview of CIC internal and external communications used in air intercept control. Features Midway Class carrier in a Task Group.

The third film is titled, The Plane Captain. The focus is on the duties of the plane captain and his relationship with the pilot. It features the AD-2 Skyraider, and includes excellent details of the aircraft.
