They are highly reflective nickel (silver) or gold plated---they are never Black or another color unless specified. If a tag appears dark it is because it is often difficult to get a photo without glare so we occassionaly use available light. We will communicate well with you to show you our quality workmanship. We have emailed many customers when they've asked for additional photos or to answer all their questions and concerns and we are happy to do so.

Looking for a pendant with Chinese Characters to say "I Love You" but don't have the image to give us?  No problem!  We'll find it for you and get your approval before we engrave!)
