Digital Wireless Monitoring System – with two ways communication
Latest digital technology monitoring system for keeping an eye on your children or home compound. The portable monitor unit features large 2.4” color LCD with speaker and microphone. The color CMOS camera features high resolution video and audio capturing with additional features including night vision and sound trigger sensor.
Please note that this is not the typical analog wireless monitoring system, this is DIGITAL wireless monitoring system. Over 95% of monitoring system sold in the industry is still using the old analog technology.
Major advantages of digital over analog transmission are:
Privacy: Analog signal is not encrypted and thus it signal (from the camera) can be received over the air by anyone with an analog receiver (monitor). I.e. if you are using an analog camera in your home, your neighbors may intercept the signal and peek into your home and see exactly what you are doing. Vice versa, you may see into your neighbor’s home if they use an analog monitoring camera. This is a major privacy issue that many consumers do not aware of when they purchase monitoring system. Sellers that sell the old analog monitoring system don not mention this issue on their listing. You want to monitor the compound of your home NOT letting someone else monitor your home!
Our monitoring system is using digital transmission technology. The signal between the camera (transmitter) and the monitor (receiver) is encrypted, i.e. only the monitor can interpret the signal from the camera. With digital technology, your privacy is guaranteed!
Interference: Analog monitoring system has the inherit interference problem. Analog signal is susceptible to interference from in-house wireless signal such as cordless phone, microwave appliances, wireless internet and etc. This is the reason why analog system incorporates the frequency switching feature as a way to avoid interference. This problem is there are so many appliances and with various frequencies transmitting inside the house there is no way to really avoid analog interference.
Digital transmission is the best way to transmit clear and high resolution signal free from interference. With our digital monitoring system you don’t have to switch frequency or moving the unit around to avoid interference. All you have to do is turn on the unit and a clear video is readily for your viewing. We guarantee that you will not see any static on your screen!
~Advance Features~
Two Way Communications: The advance two way communication feature of this system allows user from the monitor side to both hear and talk to the camera side. Speaker and microphone is built-in in both monitor and camera. Please note that typical system support only one way communication, i.e. the monitor side can only hear from the camera side but not able to talk to the camera side.
Alarm: The camera has sound trigger sensor that sense abrupt changes in its surrounding environment. When the sound sensor is triggered, the monitor will start beeping to alert user of the event.
Power Saving Mode: The LCD display can be turned off while maintaining communication between the monitor and the camera. The LCD display will be automatically turned on for 5 seconds whenever the sound alarm is triggered.
Night Vision: The camera has night vision capability that allows continuous video monitoring at night time. At complete darkness you will still be able to view up to 15 ft.
Robustness and Portability: The handheld receiver (LCD monitor) is fully portable with its built in Li-ion battery. You can put the receiver in your pocket and carry it around. The battery last up to two hours for continuous operation. By only turning on the receiver when viewing, you probably won’t need to charge the battery for weeks. A charging cradle is included in the package.
Since it is digital technology, the transmission range is up to 500 feet at open space transmission. Enclosed room to room transmission range is building material dependent. From our experience, you should not have transmission range problem inside a typical 3000 square foot house.
