This beautiful Sympathy card begins the the stunning photograph of a white rose against black. The front of this 8.5"x 5.5" side fold card is printed on heavy semi gloss paper. The photo is framed with black and white cording. Inside features two verses. The left hand side immortalizes the poem "The Rose Still Grows Beyond the Wall " by A.L. Frink The Rose Still Grows Beyond The Wall Near a shady wall a rose once grew, Budded and blossomed in God's free light; Watered and fed by the morning dew. Shedding it's sweetness day and night. As it gre and blossomed fair and tall, Slowly rising to a loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall, Through which there shown a beam of light. Onward it crept with added strength With never a thought of fear and pride, It followed the light through the crevice length, And unfolded itself on the other side. The light, the dew, the broadening view Were found the same as they were before. Ant it lost itself in beauties new. Breathing its fragrance more and more. Shall claim of death cause us to grieve, And make our courage faint or fall? Nay, let us faith and hope receive, The rose still grows beyond the wall. Scattering fragrance far and wide, Just as it did on the other side, Just as it will forevermore. The right hand side reads: Wishing you hope in the midst of sorrow, Comfort in the midst of pain. With heartfelt Sympathy. Comes with envelope sealed in clear plastic. |
