You are bidding on a page from a scarce 1840s publication (a nature encyclopedia). It depicts several types of bird of paradise, including the Emerald bird of paradise, the Magnificient bird of paradise, the golden bird of paradise, and a lovely grouping of birds of paradise.

The page has some age related damage, including light cream coloration from age and possible smudges in the margins. See scan and close-ups for a better idea of condition.

The page size is approx. 10 x 13.5 inches. It has text on the back. The printing technique in this 165-year-old print is pen-and-ink lithography. This method produced very fine lines and lots of detail.

This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE antique item.  It would look wonderful framed as a gift!

All prints are delivered in an archival sleeve and packed flat with heavy cardboard (or rolled in a sturdy box). I stand behind my products and offer a FULL REFUND if you think the product does not match the description in any way.
