You are bidding on a stunning antique print  from 1897. It is an original single-sided plate disbound from a rare animal book published over 110 years ago. Amazing color and detail.

The picture depicts a Swallow Tailed Kite (Elanoides forficatus) drawn at 1/4 life size. Lovely!!

The page is in excellent condition without stains or foxing. The paper is thick and the colors are rich. The page size is approx. 6.5x10 inches and the actual image size (without margins) is approx. 4x7 inches.

This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE item from that era.  It would look wonderful framed as a gift for the nature enthusiast.

All prints are delivered in an archival sleeve and packed flat with heavy cardboard (or rolled in a sturdy box). I stand behind my products and offer a FULL REFUND if you think the product does not match the description in any way.
