South Africa 2nd Boer War, Cattle Drive HUGE 1900 Print

You are bidding on an original antique print from an early 1900s illustrated journal. It is gigantic.

It shows a dramatic scene from the Second Boer War. It depicts British Colonials in South Africa driving cattle. The illustration is by Stanley Berkeley.

The Second Boer War, commonly referred to as The Boer War and also known as the South African War (outside of South Africa), the Anglo-Boer War (among most South Africans) and in Afrikaans as the Boereoorlog or Tweede Vryheidsoorlog ("Second War of Liberation"), was fought from 11 October 1899 until 31 May 1902, between the British Empire and the two independent Boer republics of the Orange Free State and the South African Republic (Transvaal Republic).

The page measures approximately 22.5 x 16 inches, with the engraving filling most of it. It has a fold in the middle. The print was originally folded and tipped into the magazine... this means there are no binding holes along the fold line.

The page is in excellent condition.
