This is the album that put Kenny G over the top, the one that made him a capitol-S star. With DUOTONES, Kenny G finally found the right recipe for his mellow stew of smooth jazz, R&B, and pop. DUOTONES is both easygoing and moody, breezy and cinematic, soulful and schmaltzy, peppy and chill-out music. On this disc, G lowers the R&B quotient a little, and adds some vocalists to the mix (such as the fine Lenny Williams, formerly of Tower Of Power). The production by Narada Michael Walden manages to be both lush and crisp. DUOTONES is the disc that defined much smooth jazz in the decade or so to come.

You are bidding on a 100% fully original Kenny G Duotones Cd in very good condition that was removed from a jukebox so it was actually never handled on a regular basis (it does however have some light scratches like most) but plays perfectly. This is the exact same cd that you would buy new in any cd store but available here today at a fraction of the original cost. It comes complete with cd booklet, cd jukebox preprinted title card with number cutout (only used for installing in a jukebox) and comes shipped in a cd disc protective paper sleeve. High bidder to add $2.50 first class shipping for first cd and make payment by paypal. Additional cd's purchased on the same order ship at half price.
