VINTAGE BURMEL ORIGINAL IRISH LINEN BROWN HANKY NWT




Most of the hankies I list are from the 1950's;  some are earlier and others later.  Different themes, fabrics, prints, hand-embroidered and printed!  All hankies are hand-washed except for the silk! 

Have a browse through my items and think about combining to save postage....oftentimes four hankies and sometimes more come to the same amount in postage!  If you are planning on bidding on more than one hanky and win several, be sure to let me know you're ready for an invoice and I'll send you one with adjusted postage to reflect combining items!

 

DESCRIPTION:   A vintage 1950's Irish linen *BURMEL* hanky!

FABRIC:   Irish Linen!  (see label)

STYLE:   Plain square with hand-rolled edges!

COLOR & PATTERN:   Plain medium to dark brown with an ivory hand-rolled edging!

SIZE:   Approximately 13" square!

CONDITION:   Excellent vintage condition, except for a tiny smudge (see photo 3)....as it has a label I haven't washed this hanky but I think the mark would probably come out...hard to see in any event!
