[Rare original broadside] An act to incorporate the North Carolina Transportation Company under the direction of Marshall Parks, B.F. Tebault and J. Carey Watson. This was to transport “freight and passengers by steam and other boats, through the Albemarle and Chesapeake Canal”. This was barely a year after the end of war.
