ANTIQUE IRON METAL BABY BED CRIB BASKET ESTATE L@@K GUC

Purchased at an estate sale a Antique Iron Metal Baby Bed/Crib with mattress.  I am not sure if these were used in the hospitals or used at home.  In Picture # 3 there are what looks like 2 rails that maybe the bed slid into a frame or something.  It may have just been set up on a table or something.

The bed measures 28" wide x 15" deep x 12" high.  The mattress has the original tag that says Slumber for Tiny Tots  SIMMONS.  It is the heavy ticking fabric with yarn or string ties every so many inches.  Mattress has no tears, or  odors.  It does have a few spots that can be spot cleaned but leaving that up to the high bidder.

As shown in picture # 6 there are some scratches in the paint around the top and also on some of the bars.  Can easily be resprayed.

The man at the sale made a comment that the bed was found in his mom's basement when cleaning out the house and said he probably slept in the bed.

I thought this was rather a unique piece so had to buy it and am now looking for a good home for it.
