LOOK: WE'VE COME THROUGH was the title of the Hugh Wheeler play that provided Burt Reynolds with his Broadway debut (and, to date, his only Broadway appearance), at the Hudson Theatre in 1961. This playbill is from the opening night performance of October 25. Show was a quick flop, lasting only five performances, whereafter Burt galloped back to Hollywood. With Zohra Lampert, Collin Wilcox, Ralph Williams, and Clinton Kimbrough. Directed by Jose Quintero. Produced by Saint Subber, Frank Prince, and David Black. The cover photo was taken on the steps of the New York Public Library. Wilcox and Lampert are astride one of the lions; Burt is in the rear, in the center of the shot. Exceedingly rare playbill is in excellent condition. |
