1970's GAF View-Master w/many View-Master Stereo Reels

View Master works great, but the front "eyes" have the outer membrane that looks dented or formed down into 2 opposite corners?  Not sure if that's part of the 3D design?.  Comes with complete sets of SUPERMAN The Movie, 1978 and Captain America, Where Walks the Sleeper, 1977.

Loose Reels - Preview Reel, Sleeping Beauty (REEL 5), Sword in the Stone (REEL 6), Peter Pan (REEL 3), The New Zoo Revue (REEL 1 &3), Winnie the Pooh (REEL 1 &3).
