Earl, at 21 years of Sobriety at the time he gave this talk, is an excellent and popular  speaker.   A child of the 60s, he dwells on his childhood briefly and makes note of the fact that at age 4, "something was wrong" .  Troublesome adolescence, continued drinking and drugging that carried on into his early adulthood.   

Horrendous personal tradgedy brought him to his knees.    Came into AA at 28 yrs, seething with anger, trying to find the answer of how to stay sober and be comfortable in his body, and how not to start using again.   

Was finally touched by a member of AA who was speaking with Grace and Dignity. . . related to what was being said, and he finally "turned the corner".    Goes on to talk about AA Symbol of Unity, Recovery, and Service, and gives a rendition of the steps he calls "Catch the Buzz".     Adds humor here and there in his powerful message.
