No. This disc can be played in any dvd player or computer with a standard dvd rom drive. Please note that older model computers with cd rom drives will not be able to read this dvd rom disc. Dvd rom drives can be purchased and installed on any computer for about 20$. All newer model computers come with dvd rom drives.
Can I load these files into my ipod or mp3 player?
YES. Using any computer with a dvd rom drive, simply drag and drop the mp3 files to your player.
What is the size of the files?
The audiobooks range in size from 100-600 mbs each. The complete collection is aproximately 6 gigs in size. The individual books are divided up in mp3 files between 1-3 mbs in size to allow loading of portions of the audiobooks into lower memory size players.
What is the bitrate of the files?
Cd quality 128k.
Can i burn these files to mp3 cd, or audio cd to listen to in my car or older model cd player?
YES. There are no copy protection mechanisms on the files. Copy and burn as many times as you like.
Are these computer generated voices?
