This is a wonderful solid silver belt buckle, St George slaying the Dragon. Rather than describe it too much we feel the pictures show how great this piece is. About 41/2 inches (11.4cm) wide, about 2 1/4 inches (5.7cm) high. Makers mark GP, George Piercy. Assay mark for Birmingham 1995, both pieces marked on the back as shown. We are more than happy to let anyone have more photographs if you let us have your email address. pieces are old and as such will possibly have normal manufacturing
flaws, over glazed chips, grit in the glaze or ceramic all this is normal for old pieces. Some may have light utensil marks. The pieces we sell will have been used during their life. We do try to list all the faults as much as we can. Please feel free to ask any questions.. Thank you for looking. We never overcharge for postage so if the winning bidder does not mind waiting for us to invoice them, charging only exact postage, please note we are not responsible for the Royal Mail costs, we post as soon as we receive payment unless its a weekend/bank holiday when we will then post as soon as the Post Office opens, we are very, very generous with our bubble wrap, we try and re-cycle materials as much as possible and do not charge for boxes, tape, our time or petrol to the Post Office, we do use a lot of new bubble wrap as well. We will combine postage as much as we are able, however some items may not be suitable for this, due to size, weight or how delicate an item is. Pick up is always welcome, viewing before bidding is also welcome. We work very hard to maintain our feedback, our emails are never computer generated each one individually written. Please, PLEASE contact us if you are not happy. We are not a shop, however we will give a full refund if you feel we have misdescribed any item, as long as it is returned to us within 7 days in the condition it left us. Insurance for loss is included in the postage for special delivery (upto £150) and recorded delivery (upto £39) as standard with Royal Mail. Royal Mail will not insure glass, ceramics or antiques against breakage through their postal system. :( WE DO PACK WITH LOADS OF CARE :) Please let us know if you wish to increase the insurance and we will do so at the Royal Mail standard rate at their exact cost We do accept Pay Pal inline with eBay policy, we prefer payment to be made by CHEQUES,in GBP drawn on a british bank, which only take 4 workings days to clear and we aim to post out so cheque clearance and reciept of the item coincide, return buyers we post immediately on receipt of cheques, bank transfers which is a very secure method, postal orders or cash on collection, collection is always very, very welcome. If you wish to pay by Pay Pal please note the item HAS TO BE PAID POSTAGE BY SPECIAL DELIVERY OR PARCEL FORCE 48/24 as a recognised method PayPal accept. Other choices if preferred but this is at the bidders own risk, if any item goes missing in the post we will send the reciept to the winning bidder by special delivery (at our own cost) so they may make any claim If you do not wish to choose the Pay Pal option delivery within the UK will be free with just £1 charged for packing, items will still be sent recorded delivery, special delivery or Parcel Force depending on size and value.
