1800's-Early 1900's Childs Stone Block Set w/Wood Crate

This Lot was brought to us to sell from an Estate by one of our clients. We were told that it has to sell so it's going to go.

This set of childrens building blocks is either made of stone or concrete, I really don't know which one.

They are in the shapes of square, rectangle and a round in various lengths, They are brown and red colored with one round blue and come in the original wood crate or box. It is missing the thin wood lid or cover that would slide into grooves on the top that would enclose the blocks in the crate.

There are no markings that I can find so I don't know who the manufacture or maker of this toy is.

There is a total of 54 Blocks. A square opening in the middle of the box so I don't know if a block is missing from the set or if that was left open to get your finger in to remove the blocks. Many of them are rough around the edges or have chipped corners from being played with.

Overall size of crate is 10 3/4" Long by 7 1/2" Wide by 1 1/2" Deep.
