* My Best Games of Chess, 1935-1959 by Smyslov. This book is a great collection of the ex World Champion's games during that time period. The best game collections are those written by the actually player.

* How Good is Your Chess by Barden. A great set of games that you gain points by trying figure out the player's move. A great solitary chess book.


* Chess Praxis by Nimzovich. What can I say, the book is one of the all time classics. As with any chess book, time will tell the value of the content of what is written with in.
