*~*~* CAPODIMONTE *~*~*

Made in Italy
Regarding the production from the '50s to today, we see a slow but gradual transformation of production of Capodimonte, which for commercial reasons adapts the taste, artistic expression and creativity to new trends in ornamental design. These are the years in which we see explosion in demand for products and floral-inspired arts, especially from the Cacciapuoti, of Mollica, of Maiello, of Savastano artists.

I bought this piece at an estate sale and was told that it is a vintage porcelain piece. Capodimonte stamped on the bottom with authentic mark and artist signature. The piece is 4" tall and 6" diameter. I think it is in wonderful condition, NO chips, nicks, dings, cracks. I have tried to find defects and repairs but can't find any. However I do not know what to look for since edges are different shapes. The flowers are lovely delicate poinsettias so it would lend itself quite well for the holidays with a white candle or red candle. It is a lovely piece.
