1925 Liberty “Peace” SILVER DOLLAR Coin – Philadelphia Mint

 

1925 Liberty Peace Silver Dollar - CONDITION = Very Good, Clean; Due to circulation - shows signs of wear & scratches.  Minor rim dings. – my opinion. I am not a coin professional or a coin collector and cannot grade coins – this coin belonged to my Dad. Please see the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. The Silver Dollar pictured is the one you will receive in a protective plastic bag. 

 

The Peace Dollar is a silver United States dollar coin minted from 1921 to 1928, then again in 1934 and 1935. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the Peace Dollar was so named because the word PEACE appears on the bottom of the coin's reverse. Prior to the design and acceptance of the Peace Dollar, the Morgan Dollar was minted again in 1921. It has a fineness of .900. Please, take a look at my other listings for more Collectible Items.
