Payment

Prompt payment is both appreciated and expected, but if a problem occurs, please let me know and we'll see what we can do. If a bidder can't or won't pay within a reasonable time frame, eBay policies regarding non-paying bidders will apply. If you are not a Paypal subscriber, please contact me about alternative payment methods.

Shipping

I generally ship twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. I almost always use the USPS and the shipping method selected is generally the best combination of price and delivery speed. Smaller, lighter items ship via Priority Mail. Larger, heavier ones ship via Parcel Post. If you require a faster shipping method, please inquire.

With apologies to my many good international customers, I no longer ship internationally. Sadly, a few bad apples who fraudulently take advantage of Paypal and eBay loopholes have made international transactions a potential source of tremendous frustration and significant financial loss.

Delivery confirmation is included in the base shipping cost for all domestic US shipments. Insurance is available at the buyers request and expense. I always pack with great care, but if you're concerned about loss or damage in transit, I would recommend the purchase of insurance. Once your package leaves my hands, all liability for shipping loss or damage lies with the carrier and/or the buyer.

I am willing to ship to unconfirmed addresses. However, if your address is unconfirmed and you do not purchase package registration, you expressly waive any and all PayPal buyer protection rights related to non-delivery. Additionally, it is the buyers specific responsibility to request registered delivery. Your bid in this auction acknowledges that you understand and accept these terms without reservation. I regret the need for this policy, but it is simply too easy for bidders with unconfirmed addresses to obtain a Paypal refund by claiming that they never got the item. I can provide a scan of the shipping receipt on request, as proof of shipment.

Terms of Sale

My policy as a seller is that no buyer will ever pay for a mistake made by me. Specifically, this means that if an item is not as described, and a return is necessary, I will refund in full on approved return of the item. A full refund includes the original bid price, the cost of outbound shipping, AND the cost of return shipping. The following conditions apply:

• This policy applies only to domestic US shipments.
• The item must be returned by the same carrier used for outbound shipment. Return postmark must be within seven days of original receipt.
• Item must be returned in original condition.

About Us

The vast majority of my items are plastic model kits. As a lifelong modeler, I have a pretty thorough knowledge of the hobby, and as an eBay buyer myself, I really dislike descriptions like 'looks complete but there's no way to be sure'. Of course there's a way to be sure - you inventory the kit. Therefore, I do the following as a seller:

• Unsealed kits are inventoried against the instructions to ensure completeness. If for some reason a kit can't be properly inventoried (e.g., there are no instructions), I'll let you know.
• Any missing parts, prior assembly, or prior painting will be noted.
• Condition of decals and instructions will be noted.
• Box condition will be noted when appropriate, e.g., for vintage collector kits, or if the box is in really bad shape. For common kits and builder kits, box condition will vary and will generally not be noted.
• All kits are guaranteed to be as described, and if one isn't, I'll make things right. If a kit is listed 'as-is' it will be because it has one or more problems such as missing parts, partial assembly, etc. As-is kits are not returnable.
• I may occasionally overlook something in my descriptions. If the auction doesn't answer all your questions, please email me.

Obviously, if the item for sale is not a model kit, most of what's written above won't apply. But rest assured that I do my best to properly describe all items and stand behind them equally.
