PRESTIGE SETS are an upgraded proof set offered each year by the U.S. Mint. The PRESTIGE sets contain all five of the proof coins found in the regular proof set  - In addition the prestige sets have one or more proof commemorative coins that the US Mint issues in that year. This 1987 set, created to commemorate the Constitution Bicentennial and produced at the San Francisco Mint contains a gem proof specimen of the Constitution Commemorative Silver Dollar. The proof set is mounted in a plush presentation case resembling a bound book and comes with its original color-coordinated protective outer box. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) as well as cardboard inserts that protect the display portion of the presentation case. This 1987 PRESTIGE SET is complete as issued by the U.S. Mint.
