1927-D Buffalo Nickel, a nice Fine grade coin, a solid full date, and LIBERTY is separated from the obverse rim.  The D mint mark is bold and clear.  This nickel was well struck.  NEVER acid treated.  No Reserve.

 Q: Does the coin have a lamination spot behind the head on the obverse that is missing?
A: Either a planchet lamination, but, more likely a foreign something was on the planchet, and then fell off after striking leaving a void. Roger
