This is a sweet petite Natural Citrine Crystal exhibiting a Tessin Habit termination!! It is very clear.  There is a contact mark on one side giving the crystal a somewhat concave shape.  This unique group of crystals from Adams Farm, Hiddenite, North Carolina exhibit some very amazing physical characteristics from having Record Keepers, Double Terminations, Cathedral formations, Tessin Habit terminations, with inclusions of Mica and Pyrite and Red Rutile!  They are all stunning specimens!

Tessin Habit crystals  are tapered crystals, generally wider at the center tapering to a small termination with tiny faces often also tapering inward at the base.  It is thought they are formed at high temperatures (around 500° C)  This would account for the "melted" look of some of the crystals.  The name comes from the Swiss Kanton Ticino/Tessin where this formation is found.  Formed in fire, Tessin Habit crystals signify purification, renewal of life, they aid creativity and bring great warmth and passion.

This petite Natural Citrine Crystal will travel to its new caretaker in a pouch for safe keeping.
