Japanese mythology says that the Tengu are forest spirits who often play pranks on travelers before befriending them. Fortunately, Sierra's Tengu two-person tent is only here to help, providing backcountry shelter with ample organization and gear storage. The Tengu pitches "dry," meaning you can build out the fly and poles with the tent body hanging inside, keeping you dry even during a downpour. The Tengu also employs Sierra's Reverse Combi Technology to increase the interior space, along with a Quick Pitch Swivel Hub, which keeps the tent's poles pre-threaded and ready to pitch--a must after a long afternoon on the trail. Other details include hanging loops in the vestibules for organizing gear or hanging a portable attic, RCT swift clips to accommodate the variable-diameter DAC Press Fit poles, and mesh panels through the body to increase ventilation and comfort at night.

Sew-free windows: These windows employ bonded tape to create a stronger, lighter window than traditional sewn-and-sealed versions. This allows Sierra to place the windows in the most optimal location on a tent fly.
