Includes an article by Greg Martin about the Bowie Family Collection.

Session 1: lots 6850-6995 is arms & armor from the San Francisco Fine Arts Museum includes cannons, suits of armor, helmets, Indian & Mogul weapons, US Civil War items & various other interesting lots. Property from the Speed Art Museum includes Italian Halbreds and 3 suits of armor.

Session II: lots 7050-7459 includes the Bowie collection and property from the estate of Muriel Vernet Moore.

Session III: lots 7479-7913 is antique sporting & collectible arms: Winchester, DWM, Mauser, Colt and many others.
