1986 Chevrolet Corvette Original ABS Proof Ads RARE

These two unique and original proof ads cover the ABSII anti-lock braking systems for the 1986 Corvette. Titled, "Corvette- Anti-lock braking power you can grade on a curve," the first ad measures 13 1/2" high x 10" wide and has two pictures: the first shows the 4 competitive foreign sports cars braking on a rain slick test track curve.  Below that is the Corvette doing the same thing.  There is a chart which shows the comparison of the Corvette to the 4 competitors, and some information as to the performance of all 5 vehicles.  The second proof ad measures 13 3/4" high x 18 3/4" wide and has the same information on it.  These proof ads are original and came from the Campbell-Ewald Company, and in the lower right hand corner of each is information showing these were ads before printing, done in paper stock.
